Black Cohosh Loose Tea
Black Cohosh Tea
Earthy, woody, and distinctly bitter, black cohosh tea has a robust herbal flavor with a slightly astringent finish. Black cohosh has traditionally been used in women's herbal wellness to support menopausal symptoms, particularly occasional hot flashes, night sweats, and mood changes. While black cohosh has been studied for menopause, research results are mixed, and it should not be considered a treatment or cure.
Best Preparation: Add 1 teaspoon of dried black cohosh root to a cup of water. Bring to a gentle simmer for 10–15 minutes, then strain well. Because of its naturally bitter taste, it can be blended with ginger, cinnamon, or a small amount of stevia.
Important: Consult a healthcare professional before use, particularly if there's liver condition, taking medication or if pregnant or breastfeeding.
