Mullein Herbal Loose Tea
Mullein Herbal Tea
Mild, earthy, and pleasantly delicate, mullein tea has a subtle grassy flavor with soft floral notes and a gentle, slightly sweet finish. Mullein has traditionally been used to support respiratory and throat comfort, particularly for occasional cough, congestion, and irritation.
Best Preparation: Add 1–2 teaspoons of dried mullein leaves or flowers to a cup of freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain very thoroughly through a fine filter to remove the tiny hairs naturally found on mullein leaves, which can irritate the throat. Enjoy warm with a little honey or lemon.
Note: Mullein tea is best enjoyed as a traditional herbal beverage and should not replace medical treatment for persistent cough, breathing difficulties, or other respiratory conditions.
